Application

The three core cables are designed for distribution of electrical power with nominal voltage Uo/U ranging from 6/10 kv and frequency 50Hz, They are suitable for installation mostly in power supply stations, outdoors, underground and in water as well as for installation on cable trays for industries, switchboards and power stations.

Construction

Stranded Circular Compacted, Plain annealed copper or Aluminum, class-2 to IEC 60228

Conductor screen : Semi-conductive XLPE

XLPE to IEC 60502-2

Insulation screen: Semi-conducting XLPE

Metallic screen: Copper Tape or Copper wire to IEC 60502-2

PVC – LF FR, ST – 2 to IEC 60502-2

color: Red, other colors available upon request

Electrical performance

VOLATAGE CABLE: Uo/U (Um): 6/10 (12) kV premissible service voltage: 6.35/11 kV

Thermal performance

All Aluminium Conductor (AAC) has good thermal performance, allowing it to operate efficiently under normal load conditions with effective heat dissipation, but it has limited high-temperature strength compared to composite conductors, making it best suited for standard low-to-medium temperature applications.

Fire performance

All Aluminium Conductor (AAC) has limited fire resistance; it can withstand normal operating temperatures but may lose strength and conductivity under high heat or fire conditions, so it is not designed for fire-resistant or emergency power applications.

Mechanical performance

**All Aluminium Conductor (AAC) has low to moderate mechanical strength, making it suitable for short-span overhead lines, but it is less resistant to tension, wind load, and long-distance sag compared to reinforced conductors like ACSR.**
